Tree care: Tree stumps seal over with sap as quickly as 20 minutes, so be sure to give your tree a fresh cut before you place it in your tree stand
Make sure your stand holds at least a gallon of water. Some trees are very thirsty. Never let the stand run out of water. Check it daily.
Keep the tree away from any heat sources. LED lights burn cooler than regular tree lights and save about 90% of the energy costs. NEVER use candles on a tree.
Use plain tap water to fill the stand. Everybody has a magic formula to use in a tree stand, but keeping it full of water is all that is necessary.
